Our ongoing program can be joined at any time and for any number of days. It includes accommodation, a variety of healthy meals, and free use of facilities like wifi, swimming pool and sauna (in winter).
This is what our day usually looks like:
We start at 7 am with exercises to wake up our body and spirit. We are focussed on generating more energy by taking a deeper breath, and on improving health through movement, usually dynamic Yoga (The five Tibetans).
This is followed by breakfast. The kitchen is open from 8 until 9 am. You can compile your own favourite breakfast dish from the many ingredients that we offer, from Muesli, yoghurt, fruit, seeds and nuts, to ingredients for sandwiches, porridge or smoothies. We have real farmers eggs and many vegetables are from our own garden or from a local farmers market. After 9 am the kitchen is closed and - except for helping with dishwashing and cleaning up after meals - only the cook and cook's assistant have access to it.
Around 8:30 we have a breakfast meeting with our day opening ritual and for planning our activities for the day.
In the morning you can join us in daily activities like gardening, maintaining our house and helping with lunch preparation. We do this in a silent, meditative way, relaxing in these activities.
You learn about various aspects of health food, how to prepare it and also how to grow your own vegetables. We also sprout seeds and ferment some of our vegetables. We believe that food can be the best medicine and we share information about food and alternative and traditional medicine.
Lunch is at 1 pm. It offers a variety of fresh salads for raw food lovers, and also hot dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options.
3 pm. After a pause for siesta there is a choice – depending on the weather and your preferences. We can go to the beach and swim in the Atlantic ocean, go hiking through nature, running, or relaxing by the side of the pool. When the weather is colder we often heat up the Sauna.
7 pm: The evening meditation, a time to relax and turn in. We introduce you to Osho active meditations or guided relaxation techniques.
5:30 or 8:30 pm. You can choose to have tea or soup and snacks before or after the meditation.
A movie or other evening program may follow.
